About
My goal is to champion the journey to a healthy, more active life where honest fitness and food makes wellbeing more accessible to all – without losing sight of the real lives we lead’.
Making fitness and healthy eating simple, approachable, realistic and without missing out on any of the good things in life.
I started this blog to document training for my first marathon as a non-runner, and I discovered that I loved sharing my fitness story and helping people start their journey to a healthier, more active life.
I aim to ‘pace the way to healthy, without missing out on any of the fun’ sharing workouts, exercise class reviews, running tips and race recaps as well as healthy recipes and lifestyle posts. I enjoy travelling and trying out new restaurants, both in the US and abroad, so expect to see a little of that too! Follow me on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram if you like!
I believe in an 80/20 balance when it comes to eating, a lot of what’s good for you and a little of what you love. I don’t follow a specific diet, I just try to eat real, whole foods. I’m currently in the (long) process of training to become a Registered Dietitian, and am in my final year (of 4!).
